The biggest problem you'll have with this house will be convincing guests to leave

With every bedroom in the home configured ensuite, AND with an indoor pool too, why would anyone want to? You can treat your guests in grand style year-round. Imagine your Zoom calls... from poolside - in February

Sound like a fun place to live?

Now, if you're relocating from a warm state like Florida, Arizona, or California, and are not accustomed to the seasonal changes and cold weather you'll find around here, this home would be the ideal transition for you. You could ease into your new surroundings in a house that enables a swimsuit environment year round. Seriously!

Arrival: Through the lamp covered brick pillar entrance, around on the driveway, and onto the circular guest arrival in front of the home. Your guests will be treated with a warming and impressive view of a home designed tastefully of brick and stucco, with architecture that draws the eye in many directions. There is plenty to admire here, with the bay window and dormers, arched windows and multiple roof elevations, two chimneys and the shingle roof, slate steps leading to a door framed by two tall windows. The home faces due-east to catch the morning sun seen in the photos above.

Inside, a two story entry with granite flooring and a curved stairway appears to rise out of the floor and curve up to the second level. Lit in grand style by a Schonbeck chandelier that comes suspended on a motorized lift for ease of cleaning and lamp replacement. Sunlight fills the foyer by way of a paned and arched window above the door that is almost as large as the door itself. At night, additional lighting fill is provided by Schonbeck sconces along the walls of the foyer.

The flooring used in the main floor living areas is oak hardwood, diagonally installed in the rooms and oriented straight in the hallway walking areas. Dental crown molding can be found in formal areas throughout the home. Heating throughout is via hot water ambient heat baseboard, which is very quiet, and with no moving air will be easy on any plant life you may choose to accent your home with.

To the right of the entry is the formal dining room, lit by another Schonbeck chandelier and wall sconces, and is accompanied by a butler's pantry on the way out to the kitchen. To the left is a library/private sitting area that is presently being used as an office.

Ahead is the formal living room, anchored at the center of one wall by a gas fireplace with a granite surround, lit by recessed lighting, and equipped in the corner by a pass-through wet bar that is accessed also in the kitchen and family room.

The living room, kitchen, and family room look out over an enclosed courtyard and patio for private outdoor entertaining, cooking, dining, and other secluded outdoor life.

The main kitchen for the home is corner situated, with eggshell finish cabinets, above and below with rope trim, surrounding a granite countertop and backsplash. A large wrap-around two-level serving bar and center island with granite countertops over mahogany cabinets. A large open area, it includes the eat-in area / breakfast nook to the right, surrounded by a four-section bay window. To the left, the cathedral ceilinged family room with gas fireplace completes this central point of the home. With an arched window to the left and a matching door to the right, the view beyond the family room is the spa and indoor pool.

As you might imagine, the indoor pool and spa was a major (2240 square feet) improvement to the quality of life here. The ten foot diameter Jacuzzi spa will hold quite a few guests, as will the 16' X 32' pool. Equipped with a poolside shower along with a full bath and changing room, and plenty of room to kick-back around the pool on the radiant heated stamped-concrete deck. Media hook-up, sound system, plumbing ready for you to easily add a sauna if you'd like. Sliders out to the enclosed courtyard and out to the side yard.

Outdoor swimming pools and spas here in the northeast enjoy a limited time-slot on the yearly schedule, opening in late May and closing down, for all practical purposes, right after Labor Day. Diehards can stretch that schedule on both ends a little, but not by much. Given that Summer is usually a very crowded schedule of activities away from the home anyway, the actual pool-time you can get is even further limited. An indoor pool, however, changes all of that. Every day of the year you can return home from work and hit the spa to work out the kinks. Water lovers have a pool they can jump into anytime - day, night, regardless of the temperature outside. If you work at home, you may do so in your swimsuit all day. Move your office out to poolside while the snow is coming down outside - to jumpstart creativity. Sports fans can have their friends over for pool parties during the playoffs. We could go on, but we'll stop here with this comment: Having an indoor pool can completely change the functional utility of your home - keeps your kids off the street and other things like that...

As was said at the top, every bedroom in this home is a suite, beginning with the Primary Suite, which is on the first floor and is entered from the living room. The chimney you see on the front of the home to the left is for this suite, and contains a zero clearance gas fireplace with marble surround. With a walk-in closet, security system monitor, and video hook-up, and of it lit via recessed lighting.

The accompanying primary ensuite bath features a ten-jet full-depth Jacuzzi tub with a water heater to keep you warm for extended stays. Tiled from floor to ceiling, and lit by skylights along with recessed lighting. Dual sinks set into a granite countertop, a corner shower in clear glass, finishing off with a bidet. Can anything possibly be missing?

Upstairs, find another four bedrooms, each one of them a suite, which will make EVERYONE in the house happy, won't it? There will be no sibling wars for bathroom time in this home! Each bathroom features floor to ceiling tile. Additionally, there is a bonus room perfect for an upstairs media room, to keep the riff-raff isolated a bit, when the video games get noisy. There's plenty of bedrooms, and you'll need to come see them in person, as we won't take your time describing each bedroom here.

There are SIX bedrooms, and the sixth is actually down on the first floor, down the hall beyond the kitchen, and like the others is a full suite, an overnight suite, or an in-law suite, with a full bath including a bidet. Also on this hallway is a powder room. Further down the hall is the laundry and mud-room which is also on the way in from the garage.

The basement: It's a very large space, and is entirely finished with a ceramic tile floor. There's another full kitchen down here, along with a full length serving bar like the one in the kitchen upstairs, and a wet bar off to the side. You will see in the photos that 'very large space' is probably an understatement at 3200 square feet - a very large party could be had here and be completely isolated from the rest of the house. This is a space made for entertaining a large crowd. It features an outside entrance, a reception area, an office, a cedar lined closet and a full bathroom.

The home comes with 300 amps of electrical service, and you'll not need to worry about power outages as there is a 40 kilowatt standby generator outside waiting for the chance to serve you. The eleven-zone hot water baseboard heating system is designed for economical use, with every suite and room in the home on it's own separate zone. Air conditioning is delivered to five zones, primary bedroom, upstairs bedroom suites, main floor, basement, and the indoor pool area. There are two eighty-gallon hot water tanks, two well tanks and a water filtration system. The 1.4 acre lot is security fenced, professionally landscaped, and is serviced by a twelve-zone sprinkler system.

A full three-car garage is tucked away at the right side of the house, angled toward the rear of the property so the garage doors are not a visible presence as you view the home from the street.

Conveniently located less than five miles from major shopping - clothing, home improvement, office supplies, and multiple groceries and specialty delis. If you are relocating to the area to work at the Orange Regional Medical Center, your drive to work will be less than four miles.
